Customer Review: Buy this Irrigator
Summary: 5 Stars

The "other brand" the more famous one, disintegrated in my hand. This one is durable, handy, effective, and really portable. Uses common AA type batteries but one warning ---keep water out of the battery compartment and be sure the battery lid is on tight. The reservoir is just right. And I'll tell you just how good this is. Floss first; then use your Braun electric, THEN use this irrigator.. It will still clear out food particles between the teeth. Last time I went to the dentist, he looked in my mouth and commented how clean it is. My recommendation: Buy this one. Product and price - Great.

Customer Review: Great Portable Dental Irrigator
Summary: 5 Stars

I was told by my dentist to purchase a water pik device for a better cleaning experience with greater plaque removal. I use this device in conjunction with my Sonicare Toothbrush (also recommended by my dentist and periodontist)and my dentist, peridontist, and orthodontist continutally remark on the health of my gums. After having gum surgery for periodontal disease this is a great relief.

You will have to replace the 2 AA batteries every two weeks, however, it's
definitely worth it to be able to take this anywhere at will. I highly recommend this product!

Customer Review: Portable and Powerful
Summary: 4 Stars

The Panasonic Personal Care Portable Oral Irrigator EW1270AC is a portable Water Pik. It does the job very well and can be transported easily. I was amazed at how it cleaned and got into spaces I couldn't go with dental floss. I would highly recommend this product for those of you that need the extra care of the water pik with their dental floss.

Customer Review: Does what it says it will do
Summary: 4 Stars

From some of the other reviews I read before purchasing the oral irrigator,I thought it would be more powerful than it is but it does do what it is advertised to do and is very convenient for travel. It is worth the money I spent.

Customer Review: Panasonic - not up to the task
Summary: 2 Stars

I just purchased one of these and have only used it a few times, so keep that in mind. I am comparing it with the Water Pik Cordless. First, I am disappointed that it seems to have a very small tank. It says it is the same size as Water Pik, but only lasts about 30 seconds and has to be refilled several times. With the Water Pik I would have to refill it maybe once. Also, it comes with only one tip, but I don't know how durable it is. One thing I am not happy about is that instructions state you can't use anything but plain tap water. My dentist said to mix it up with part hydrogen peroxide or Crest mouthwash (I have gum issues) but apparently you can't with this one. I can't comment on battery life or durability yet, but don't rate it highly because of these other issues.
