A lot of people will find the price of this SD Card to be outrageous compared to other similar products that carry half the cost. Some reviews already are complaining about the expense.
The reason why one would buy this is that this is meant for professional use, and by that I mean in memory-based HD Cameras and DSLRs. Panasonic actually made this product with that type of user in mind. They even have space for you to "label" the card. The card also is reliable under severe temperature conditions (-13F to +185F / -25C to 85C). The card has a 10-year warranty. It's also "Made in Japan" which is a rarity at times.
I would not recommend this to anyone who is looking for a memory card for their point and shoot digital camera or storage for their Wii/DSi. For those products use PNY 32 GB SDHC Class 4 Flash Memory Card P-SDHC32G4-FS which is very reliable.
If you need a robust Class 6 SDHC card that has been extensively tested for pro users, this is the way to go, mind you Panasonic is releasing Class 10 in Summer 2009 which promise higher write speeds. For now this is the right card for AVCHD & Hi-Res DSLR users.
