Customer Review: Best cordless handset I've used

I purchased the Panasonic base station with two handsets, and will eventually get a third handset. The features on this handset are everything that I was looking for. The voice quality is second to none and so far I haven't found any dead spots in the house as well as in my detached garage which is about 100' from the house. If I get tired of a ringtone, I just search the internet for another one that I like and download it onto the phone. I've downloaded pictures of family members into the handsets and when they call home on their cell phones, their cell numbers and picture appear on the full color screen. The only thing that doesn't work real well is the talking caller ID. Most of the time it is hard to understand, but I don't care about this feature and will disable it anyway. The handsfree speaker phone feature works well also, and is nice for those times when you are put on hold so you don't have to hold the phone by your ear for an extended time. The lighted keypad makes dialing easy at night, and the handsets feature a blinking blue light to indicate a new voice message waiting. I've had these phones for a couple of months now and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting a full featured, quality phone.

Panasonic KX-TGA571S Additional Handset for PANKXTG5761S with 1.5" Color LCDDesigned to be used with KX-TG5700 series telephone systems, the Panasonic KX-TGA571S digital cordless handset uses 5.8 GHz frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology for added clarity and a stronger connection. Because it uses the 5.8 GHz frequency, the handset operates on a different wavelength with much less traffic than the 2.4 GHz technology. The result is greater security, incredible clarity, and longer range. Have a wireless computer network, or thinking about getting one? The phone system's 5.8 GHz technology will not interfere with wireless networks such as 802.11b or 802.11g WiFi.
Add Images to Your Calls
The cordless handset is designed around a 1.5-inch backlit LCD screen, providing space for images that you can upload to the phone via its USB port. This set includes a single handset, but the system is expandable to a total of eight handsets.
Put the Phone Down While You Talk
When you've been on hold for 10 minutes, do you really need to hold the phone? Not with the handset speakerphone. Just lis10 along, and press a button or pick up when it's convenient. You'll think up other great uses, like letting Grandma and Grandpa lis10 to their new grandchild at the same time, painting your nails as you talk to your best friend, or just being able to set the phone down while you talk.
