Customer Review: Great Battery, But Awfully Big

This battery may be a case of too much of a good thing. Unless you are a very heavy user of your camcorder, 4.5 hours (which is what you will get if you use your LCD screen) is probably more than you will need.For half the price, I would recommend the CGRD16A/1B, which has three hours of rated usage, or 1.5 with the LCD screen.
If you need this much battery life, be aware that this is a big battery that will stick out of the back of your camcorder quite a bit.
That said, this is a very good battery that retains a charge quite well.
