I've had this product for over ten years. Right from the start I knew it was going to be a hit with me. Why? Because the recording quality was as clear as a bell. So many other recorders I'd tried, (whether boomboxes or cassette recorders) had lots of tape hiss and the voice sounded far away and music was unclear. The sound quality of this boombox is outstanding.
And since I am an fmdx enthusiast I was impressed with the ability to pick up stations from far away.
I've recommended this product to my friends, and now I'm recommending it to you. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Panasonic presents its RX-FT530 - Slim Style AM/FM Stereo Radio Cassette Recorder. This recorder also features 2-way, 4-speaker system wide dynamic Sound range, FM stereo/mono mode selector, LED FM stereo indicator, Auto relay play from deck 1 to deck 2, FF and REW controls, auto stop&pause, one-touch recording, built-in condenser mic, soft eject system, CD/Line-in jacks for optional CD player. Carry handle is provided for extra convenience and telescoping antenna is included for drift free reception.Panasonic's RX-FT530 AM/FM cassette recorder has a two-way, four-speaker system for dynamic sound. The result is rich bass, clear middle to high tones and continuous tone control. The cassette player has two cassette decks. The second deck features one-touch and follow-up recording. The built-in condenser microphone allows for room recording. The AM/FM stereo tuner has an LED FM stereo indicator and stereo/mono switch. The Panasonic RX-FT530 includes CD/line jacks for an optional CD player and comes with an AC adapter. It will also run on six D-size batteries for portable use.
